Our roll-wrapped carbon fiber tubes are crafted from multiple layers of UD (unidirectional) carbon fiber in the middle, and 3K weave carbon fiber fabric for outside, which are rolled onto the axial mold. Hence, the thickness of the carbon fiber tube is determined by the quantity of layers of the inner unidirectional carbon fiber. So any thickness, diameter, and length can be customized according to your requirement.

2. What shapes of carbon fiber tubes do you manufacture?

3. Do you offer free samples before bulk orders?

5. What “K” carbon fiber types do you offer?
3K and unidirectional is the most common use for carbon fiber circular tubes and square tubes, any other grade also available, like 1K, 1.5K, 6K, 12K etc.
6. Do you provide pultrusion tubes or roll wrapped tubes?
We offer both pultrusion tubes and roll wrapped tubes. But generally roll wrapped tubes would be preferred as it’s made up from several piles of prepreg carbon fiber, and the orientations can be adjusted to reach the the property that you required. And strength and durability the roll wrapped tube is going to be more versatile.
However, the roll wrapped tube also has disadvantage, that is mandrel dictates the maximum length that it can be made, unlike pultrusion tubes that can be made infinitely long.

8. What resin systems do you use?

The standard formula is 68% carbon fiber + 32% epoxy resin, but can vary based on the specific product and application.

Yes, Any size within our size range can be customized. Just let us know the size and we will check if we have the mold. Otherwise very little mold cost will be charged
15. What is the lead time for delivery?
It depends on the size and quantity. Standard sizes are often in stock and can be delivered in 5-7days, while custom orders may require additional production time.
16. Is a protective film applied to the surface of the tubes?
Yes, the slightly bigger PE protective bag will always applied to prevent damage during shipping and handling. The thickness and the colors of this film can be customized based on your needs.
17. Can we custom my own mold?
Yes, just send us the specific drawing of the parts that you need, we will analyze the price and make the mold for you.
18. Do you provide CNC service for different parts?
Yes, we have 24 CNC router and 3 5-axis lathe, which can meet all the sizes and shapes of the tube, please send us .dwg, .dxf or .step format and other information, or check the details in our Carbon Fiber CNC Parts page.
19. Are carbon fiber tubes of Quasi-isotropic type available?
Yes, it can be unidirectional or quasi-isotropic, the most popular layup method are:
3K + 90° UD

20. How can I cut carbon fiber tubes in house?
Our carbon fiber tubes can be cut by a normal circular saw easily, but for the more suitable and precise parts. Better machine the sheets on a CNC lathe.
21. Why are the carbon fiber tubes so expensive?
We made 2 primary reasons for this:
The premium raw materials are expensive, such as Carbon fiber filament, Epoxy resin.
Unlike other manufacturing processes, the production of carbon fiber sheets are mainly process by skilled composite technician, and there is no machine that can replace the manual lay up the carbon fiber so far.
22. Can carbon fiber tubes be painted?
It depends on your applications. Actually the resin we used is UV resistant, so the extra anti-UV paint is not so necessary.
However, varnish can be painted on the surface if you want a more glossy surface.
But, we have the Mirror surface for your selection, which is much more glossy than the standard, the price is a little more expensive, but it’s definitely much cheaper than the varnish process, and more eco friendly.
23.Can I have the datasheets of the carbon fiber tues?
Sure, the datasheets of carbon fiber filament, epoxy resin, carbon fiber tubes, all the raw material testing report can be provided.
